¶ Description
SCP-148 is a metallic substance, composed of a variety of known and unknown elements. The total mass of SCP-148 on hand is approximately 1.1 1.2 tonnes. SCP-148 has a gray-green color with a bluish tinge and oxidizes readily in the presence of water. SCP-148 has a melting transition point of approximately 4500°C and a boiling transition point of approximately 9000°C. SCP-148 has a density of 6.20 g/cm3 6.76 g/cm3 and qualifies as HRC 39 in a Rockwell hardness test. It exhibits material properties, such as strength, ductility, and workability, similar to platinum.
¶ In-Game
In the game, it can only be found in the SCP-035 containment chamber. However, it is also present in other containment chambers, but it is either broken or impossible to pick up. It is not dangerous.
The SCP-148 ingot can be processed into SCP-914 at "Rough" or "Very Rough" to obtain the "ore" SCP-148. Using the "ore" SCP-148 on "Fine" or "Very Fine", you can craft more than three useful items:
- Heavy Ballistic Vest: This vest provides better protection than other vests, but it reduces the player's stamina, making the game more challenging.
- Heavy Gas Mask: Unlike other gas masks, this one provides infinite stamina and also protects against cognitive threats such as SCP-012, 035, and 895.
- Heavy Hazmat Suit: This suit is the best among the other heavy items. Like the gas mask, the heavy hazmat suit provides infinite stamina, improved protection against all damage, and protection against cognitive threats such as SCP-012, 035, and 895.
The heavy hazmat suit is the best choice among these items because it offers the most advantageous and convenient features.
Do not confuse these things with the heavy ballistic helmet, as it is not part of the SCP-148 crafting process, but rather a modified version of the regular ballistic helmet.
